In 2015 I broke a story about Tennessee taxpayers paying $46,000 for a crudely designed new state logo. The story was known as Logo-Gate. The Tennessean, the state’s largest newspaper, reported on my work. The story spread like wildfire around the state and went viral nationally. Even FOX News Special Report picked it up.
I’ve been meaning for the better part of the past nine nine months to update this website. I had a lot of plans when I created it last fall. Life, however, has kept me busy with big changes in both my professional and personal lives. I literally haven’t had an opportunity to fiddle with this thing until now.
What I have above is a business card I made with a lot of input from friends of mine with graphic design skills. Many thanks to them for their help.
For those of you who don’t know, I’m now the Tennessee state director for U.S. Term Limits. Here’s an ad we released today. Feel free to share with as many people as possible.
Welcome to my website. This page is meant to help me find freelance gigs, whether it’s in freelance journalism, editing and proofreading, photography, and resume and cover letter writing work.
And….if you don’t mind…..I’ll post some of my random musings and post about any other projects I’m involved in.
I have a lot to learn about running a website, and I’m sure I’ll do a few things wrong at the beginning, especially after I get some feedback from you all. The page is a work-in-progress, and it will evolve over time.
